Allison from Pennsylvania

I have been taking care of my mom Janis for 14 years. In the last two years her health has declined due to several complications due to right knee surgery. She now uses a walker and is limited as to how far she walks. She has severe diabetes with neuropathy in both legs. She had to stop driving because at times she could not tell if she had her foot on the gas or brake! I try to monitor her diet but she has friends bring sugary snacks when I work and her blood sugar ends up in 200s . My sister helps but lives far away and only visits once a year.
