Rhonda from Kentucky

Hi my name is Rhonda. On August 3, 2017 my husband, Dale was given a terminal diagnosis. After a routine physical he was found to have Ocular Melanoma. Cancer of the eye is very rare so we were sent to Cincinnati for treatment. It was four hours from home and the treatment was horrific. It is a blood cancer and spread quickly to his liver, spine, rib cage, and lungs. Our savings were depleted but I would have lived in a cardboard box if only God hadn't needed him back. I was his sole caregiver until he passed away April 26, 2018. I was frozen in place for six months until a friend was in a serious accident. I am now caring for Margaret around the clock and will be with her until her journey on this earth is over. It is an honor to hold the hand and the heart of someone so dear. I believe I was born to serve and I will do it with my whole heart.
