Michael from Nevada

These are my parents, my mom has Alzheimer's disease and my dad has paraplegia from a motorcycle accident when he went to the Philippines for vacation. Medical support is a lot easier here in the United States than in Philippines. We're somewhat lucky that we're getting assistance from the government over here and I'm very lucky that my parents are still alive and hugging them feels like heaven!! Everyday is getting harder as my mom is deteriorating but I wont stop helping them. I know the nature of Alzheimer's is progressing and my dad needs therapy. I'll always be here to guide and support them like they did for me. They are my life.
