Taren from New Mexico

Hi, my name is Taren and I’ve been caring for my mother Carrie since 2016. I started caring for my mother when she had to be put into a wheelchair, and needed more care. I care for her full time while taking online college courses to continue my education. The daily tasks I do to help her are managing her medication, help bathing her, and cooking for her. The one thing I struggle with as a caregiver is finances. Caring for my mother fulltime makes it harder to come across money. Another thing that would be great is extra help. However I love caring for her because I know what I’m doing is for the best and I love her so much. My tip for any other caregivers is to be strong and never give up on your loved one.
