Charlotte from Texas

I was the sole caregiver for my husband Brad until he lost his life to prostate cancer. He was so good for me and my family and we miss him so much. Soon after I lost him my mother was diagnosed with dementia possibly Alzheimer's Disease. I am now fortunate enough to be able to help my mom Lynette as she struggles through the challenges of this frightening disease. I just hope i can keep her in my home because I feel that being around your family is so important with this type of illness. It is a real struggle financially but I just hope we can stay together. We have always been close and are even closer now. I am so grateful to be able to help her and pray that my new job will continue to let me work there until one day, I pray, I can work from home to be able to keep mom safe.
