My most recent lady's name is Rae. She passed away this past December. I've had a broken heart ever since! I had been with her for 3 years and we were as close as family is! I've done this type of work over 20 years. I can be very rewarding and it also can be extremely heartbreaking. I don't feel there are enough resources for our elderly! If people are lucky enough to qualify through an agency most generally the agency pays so little that it's hard to find someone to work. Thank you to all the caregivers out there! Plus all the sweet families that allow us to be a part of theirs.
