Heather from New Hampshire

Hello everyone, I'm Heather and I'm a caregiver for my mother Kathleen. I've been her caregiver for five years, but I've only been paid to be her caregiver for a year. I love what I do. My mom has COPD and asthma, AFib and congestive heart failure. She can barely walk, so I took over caring for her and the house. I'm on call 24/7, I can't shut it off, but I would not have it any other way. I don't know how much time I have left with my mom so I make it count. My motto is "don't worry until I worry, when I start to worry then you can too."
