This is my meme and everyone else calls her Nacy. I help my parents care for her since my papaw Ray passed away of an unexpected heart attack back in March. She has dementia and cannot stay alone, so I guess you can say like they say about children - it takes a village, because it's not only me, it's my whole family keeping her so she can continue staying in her home. Papaw has always taken care of her and now we know how hard he had it. We love our meme very much and that's why we all pulled together to make this happen. Dementia is when people tend to forget things and their mind kind of plays tricks on them. It's very dangerous for them to stay alone because they can leave the stove on, which meme did once.
