Shirley from Michigan
I have been caregiver for 30 years for a mother who has braid damage as a result of domestic violence and have two schizophrenic brothers. Words can not express the pressure and stress I feel on a daily basis. My mom is in a group home that she stays at all the time to keep her safe 20 minutes away and brothers live in separate housing each 20 minutes away from me and each other. I pay bills cook cleaning and do shopping. My 4 grandchildren are homeless and I'm trying to help shelter and provide for them being disabled and retired myself. There seems to be no relief in sight. I guess I just care too much. I have a brother 800 miles away with a heart condition and suffers with depression, a younger brother and sister who suffer with depress and schizophrenia. It's too much to talk about.
