Linda from Iowa
Well, I have a father that has Alzhiemer's who is 90 years old. My mother has never driven so my husband and I are their transportation.
We take them to doctors appointments, church, grocery shopping, and all other traveling they need to do.
My mother does the home care for my father but at times needs help. So I or my husband goes and helps her out. When they need groceries either my husband will stay with my father since he can't stay at home alone any longer.
I am my mothers sounding board so that she can vent frustration.
I'm glad that I'm retired and my husband is disability retired. So we can pretty much go over when they need us. We are always on call to help them.
