Darlene from Michigan

Greetings Everyone my name is Darlene and I'm a caregiver to my twin sister Marlene. She suffered a massive stroke November 5, 2013 and she is bedridden and incongnant. We are stronger together. I had to change my whole life and house around to make it convient for her. It is a honor and privilege to care for her even though I get no funding to aid her I do have a little help from her 19 year old Daughter because she is in school and it wouldn't be fare to have her put her little life on hold to care for her mother, it gets a bit challenging and I cry a lot because she is helpless and I hate this happened to her but, I know God don't make mistakes and my help comes from the Lord who always give me strength to get through the days. I just pray that one day I can get a Handicap Accessible van so she can get out and enjoy some of her independence. The only way for her to get out to go anywhere is by Ambulance. Marlene has worked over 28 years as a CNA Certified Nurse Assistant and now she is in need of the same services that she provided. I just pray for all the caregivers that God Provides everything that is needed to help the need be more lighter and that we don't get weary in Well Doing.. God Bless Everyone.
