My sister, Donna is battling stage 4 Ovarian Cancer. Living in Florida Sunshine was our dream. Hailing from the snowy Michigan, everyday is like vacation for the past 12 years. The past 4 years, my sister battled almost entirely alone. Then, I stepped in over the past 1 & 1/2 years. She now lives with me. I knew being The Sole FullTime Caregiver would Be challenging. But having to mentally separate a Loved one from patient is difficult. I continue to stand strong in her presence and weep in myself during her courageous fight. She spent 27 years in the Military now caring for her was the love I could give. With every meal prepared or bed made or diaper changed it is with love and empathy. Strength is ours with Girl Power driven by God Power!
