Tina from Idaho

My husband Jim had a massive heart attack about 6 years ago and then a stroke about a year later. They left him with brain damage and physical limitations. He can't walk without a walker and has little use of his right arm. And because he forgets things and gets confused easily I have power of attorney. He falls a lot so I don't leave him for any length of time. I dont mind taking care of my husband. I love him and if things were reversed he would do the same but my only complaint is I can't get health insurance and I can't find anything that we could afford. I'm offered health insurance but who could afford 3-4 hundred a month for health insurance. I guess I'm lucky to still have good health. I hope my luck holds. Oh and my husband and I are both just 55.
