My name is Amber I was blessed to care for my father Al who had served in the Navy for many years. He was a spunky man full of life and the best father a daughter could ask for. My father had diabetes and over the years his age outgrew him. I was in charge of his daily meals, walking his dogs, making sure he got around to appointments and helped administer his medication. He stayed young at heart and smiled up until his final moments. Taking care of him was pleasure because I finally got to give back to him after all of the years of him giving to me.
