Jayden from Texas

My grandmother Matilde is 92 years old. She's such an amazing soul and had an amazing life. She is bed ridden now and she's been diagnosed with advanced Alzheimer's so in between working full time and taking care of her and the home, I like to spend my free time laying with her watching the rain and listening to her stories of growing up in Mexico. I treasure these times because they are so few and far between now I try to take it all in while she can still tell her story. On bad days I tell her stories of her childhood that she's taught me, hoping it gives her comfort to remember her mother and father growing up.
