Robert from Idaho

I found my brother Rick unconscious on his bed on May 18, 2017. I was scared to death, called 911, paramedics came right away and took Rick to the hospital. My sister Lois is handling all of Rick's expenses and care. She has the Power of Attorney for Rick. Doctors think it might have been sleep apnea causing this sudden illness. Presently Rick is in a rehabilitation facility in Nampa. He has a trache on his throat because of accumulating saliva, therefore, Rick can not talk nor eat food -- unless or until the trache could lever be removed. He does understand what we say to him, like asking him to smile and he does so but in a crooked smile which is so sad for us! Rick is 63 -- I am 75 living alone in Rick’s home in Boise. My sister Lois (72) is a widow since her husband died of cancer 6 months after their 50th wedding anniversary; also her younger son is in prison just before his father Jerry died. His sentence is a long one. Yes, Lois and I know what family loving with such suffering is all about. I am Bob, and I am in the Ministry of singing for Jesus, which I have done now for 53 years: The powerful Anointing of the Holy Spirit comes through me as I sing for people. Rick and I never married; I live in his home, keeping things going: My sister helps me a lot to pay bills. I do the best I can. I am on just Social Security. I am a veteran – 3 years enlisted – in the Army, I got saved first-hand by Jesus – a week later I served a year in Korea. I also have the Baptism in the Holy Spirit: whereupon God does heal the sick and set captives free! I am busy singing for Jesus. I am a Lyric Tenor -- some say opera -- I give all the glory to Jesus. I am a Veteran -- my medical care through the VA is free for me; I also have Medicare.
