Lucille from New Jersey

I have been married to my husband of 45 years and a caregiver for 22 years. He suffered from a heart attack, along with memory loss from Anoxia (oxygen loss) back then. He has survived well physically, and is under the care of physicians, regularly. We both adapt to his day to day routines, and he follows “notes” and messages written for him daily as needed. He is an avid reader of current events, books, articles...just about anything he can get his hands on, despite his memory loss. We are so blessed to be together for all these years and are grateful for each and every day!
